Bagi yang menggunakan OS Windows Vista pasti akan membutuhkan cadangan memory yang lumyan besar, Memory 1 GB atau 2 GB yang kita gunakan juga terkadang akan terasa kurang dan tidak cukup. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini kita bisa menggunakan Flash Disk dengan feature Ready Boost.
ReadyBoost adalah fitur pada vista yang bisa mengutilisasi perangkat sejenis USB drive untuk digunakan sebagai cadangan memori ( virtual memory ).
Untuk dapat menggunakan feature ini pada flash disk lihat pada screen shoot dibawah ini ;

1. Pada USB Drive klik kanan > Properties
2. Pilih tab pada Ready Boost
3. Kemudian tandai pada > Use This Device
4. Lalu pilih berapa space yang kita berikan
5. Finish

Disarankan jika menggunakan Flash Disk untuk Ready Boost minimal space yang kosong adalah sebesar 512 Mb, akan lebih baik jika Flash Disk-a kosong tidak ada data.
